Don’t miss our in-person, two-day conference in partnership with ICIS, offering a unique opportunity to meet key stakeholders from across the PET value chain.
The event will feature high-level dialogue and engagement from EU representatives and the business community and touch on a wide range of topics from regulatory and market challenges through to circularity. Also, Jessika Roswall - European COMMISSIONER responsible for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy will be among keynote speakers.
In partnering with ICIS for a second year running, we are delighted to be able to offer delegates strong insights into the evolution of the PET market both in Europe and around the world.
Discussions will focus on the key issues facing our sector – including recently proposed amendments to the SUPD, PPWR and 1616/2022 Directive. These require proper evaluation and indications from EU industry to ensure the creation of a genuine level playing field between EU and non-EU countries. Only though strong coordination between institutions and business can industry deliver a sustainable economy across the EU.
As in previous editions, the event will include: highlights from the PET State of Play study, DRS implementation, Global outlook on Trade Defence Instrument, Standardisation and Design for Recycling and new grading classification involving the European PET Bottle Platform and Tray Circularity Evaluation Platform, 4DR and Circularity supporting standardisation, Communications Campaign and Member Involvement, advocacy updates, and the new EPR scheme for Polyester Textiles.
In addition, PETCORE EUROPE Working Groups will present their contributions to further boosting our value chain compliance with both regulatory requirements and fast evolving market challenges.
