Petcore Europe confirms top speaker line-up in countdown to Annual Conference 2024.

European Commission representatives will join speakers from across the PET value chain in Brussels. Petcore Europe will welcome speakers from across the European Commission and PET value chain at its annual conference being held in Brussels from 7-8 February.
Day One features a series of presentations and panel discussions where delegates will hear from brand owners, retailers, producers, converters, recyclers and decision makers.
Stefano Soro, Head of the new Green and Circular Economy Unit at Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry Entrepreneurship and SMEs will present the perspective of the European Commission. He will be joined by Wolfgang Trunk of DG Environment and Apostolos Kapsalis of DG Health and Food Safety (DG SANTE) TBC.
The day will end with a gala dinner at the Plaza Hotel where a keynote address will be delivered by Plastics Europe president, Marco Ten Bruggencate.
Day Two will explore emerging technologies and innovations and hear from a range of speakers as part of this year’s newly introduced Innovation Summit, including: Liliana Orban of Starlinger Recycling Technology; Pietro Simonetti from Sukano; Antoine Bourely of Pellenc; Andrea Smith of Avient and Pranav Majgaonkar of the Fraunhofer Institute.
