The objective of this physical event is to promote thermoforms collection & recycling and specifically tray to tray circularity. We will also showcase PETCORE EUROPE Thermoforms WG’s initiatives: Tray Circularity Evaluation Platform (TCEP) and Functional Barrier (FB) task Force.

 

The first day of the event will feature presentations from high-level speakers such as: Luis Planas Herrera - Policy Assistant to the Director General for the Environment at European Commission & Ana Agudo - Councillor responsible for Sustainability, Mobility and Security in the city hall of Granada, that will explain their goals & expectations for PET trays. Also, we will have interventions from the major experts in the field of thermoforms, followed by panel discussions with guests from the PET industry: E&ACT, KOR, KP Films, Sulayr, Dow, ​ Corepla and many others. PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate) is a strong but lightweight form of polyester.
